This page explains what happens to the information you send through this website.
Who is responsible
Erica Alheit, trading as EFT Matrix, London, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. To ask anything about this policy, use the details on the contact page.
What is collected
There are three ways to get in touch, and they collect different things.
The enquiry form. The form at the top of the contact page collects your name, your email address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, your preferred contact method, and whatever you write in the message box. It is sent to Erica by email and goes nowhere else.
Booking a call. Below the form, the contact page offers a booking calendar run by Calendly. When you open it and book a time, Calendly collects the details it asks you for, which include your name, your email address and any answers you give to its questions, together with the time you have chosen. Calendly also records technical details of your visit such as your device and network address.
Email or telephone. Writing or calling directly reaches Erica with only what you choose to say. No third party is involved.
Whichever route you use, please do not include medical or mental-health details. A short note about what you would like support with is enough. Anything you go on to share in a session is a separate matter and is covered by the terms discussed with you directly.
Why it is collected, and the lawful basis
Your details are used for one purpose only: to arrange and hold a discovery call. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the enquiry form, by choosing to open the booking calendar and confirm a time, or by contacting Erica directly. You may withdraw it at any time by asking for your details to be deleted.
Who it is shared with
Your details are not shared with any third party for marketing. They are not sold, and they are not added to a mailing list.
Two companies process data on our behalf. The website is hosted in the United Kingdom by 20i Limited. Bookings are handled by Calendly LLC, which provides the scheduling calendar.
Calendly is based in the United States, so booking through the calendar means your details are transferred outside the United Kingdom. The safeguards Calendly applies to that transfer, and everything it collects, are set out in its own privacy notice at calendly.com/privacy. Using the enquiry form, or contacting Erica by email or telephone, involves no such transfer.
Nothing is sent to Calendly simply by reading the contact page or by using the enquiry form. The calendar loads only when you press the button that opens it. This is explained on the cookie policy page.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Records relating to clients are kept for as long as is necessary and are covered by the terms agreed with you when you begin working together.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, get in touch using the contact page.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the enquiry inbox is restricted to Erica.
