EFT Tapping

Emotional Freedom Techniques, often called EFT or tapping, combines psychological techniques with gentle tapping on specific acupressure points.

During a session, you may focus on a feeling, thought, belief, body sensation or memory while tapping. The aim is to support a greater sense of calm, and to reduce the emotional intensity surrounding the issue.

Free, no-obligation discovery call.

What a session may include

A woman with curly brown hair sits in a cream armchair by a sunlit garden window, eyes closed, tapping the eyebrow point with two fingers, a cup of tea and a succulent on the table beside her.

Why talking alone may not always feel enough

Understanding a pattern intellectually can be helpful, but insight does not always change the emotional response.

A person may know that they are safe, capable or worthy, and still feel anxiety, shame or self-doubt in their body. EFT is intended to work with both the conscious understanding and the deeper subconscious patterns.

What a session may include

  • Identifying the issue you want to work with
  • Noticing the thoughts, emotions and body sensations connected to it
  • Using personalised tapping statements to help relieve the body of stress
  • Checking whether the emotional intensity changes
  • Following related feelings that arise to early memories
  • Working at a pace that is client-led and safe

What EFT may support

Clients may seek EFT support for:

  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • Low self-worth
  • Stress
  • Self-doubt
  • Procrastination or self-sabotage
  • Emotional eating
  • Painful memories
  • Repeating negative emotional reactions
